Ladies Night Out - An Automotive Crash Course, is set in a shop environment, coaching women on everything from basic maintenance and repair, to dealing with the scary situations of an accident. Christy Jones of R Jones Collision 1 on Merle Hay Road brings you into the world of collision repair. As a second-generation repairer, Christy has grown up in the industry. Her extensive experience estimating body damage and working with your insurance company has made her an expert in the industry.  Christy guides you through the steps of a collision repair from start to finish, offers safe driving tips, and explains the value of a proper repair.

Larry Wieland is the owner and founder of Ace Body & Motor serving Des Moines and surrounding area for nearly 34 years. Larry started Ace Body and Motor in 1982 at the age of 23. He and his son Jason who is an ASE Certified Master Technician share like values: treat all customers honestly and with respect and give an explanation of needed repairs while prioritizing each one without ever pressuring the customer. Larry and Jason will talk about how important it is to pick a qualified and honest repair facility and welcome any and all of your automotive questions, so write them down and bring them with you. No question is dumb except the one that doesn't get asked. 

Every class also includes a presentation by a local insurance agent, who explains what all those little numbers mean on an insurance policy. Find out what you need, what you don't and why.

The end of the night includes an air bag demonstration and a drawing for prizes donated from our sponsors, although, everyone wins with the free wine, food and gift bags!
